In Toby Litt's "Sliceā€ troubled teenager Lisa and her parents have house swapped with a family from England in order to remove Lisa from negative influences. The family members document their experiences on their blogs as well as twitter. Lisa focuses on the weird contents of her room while her parents are busy house hunting. One day Lisa finds the diarys of Mary Jane, the room's former occupant, and discovers some weird entries that feature rabbit drawings and mention a Jacomo. When she hears of Mary Jane and her family's death shortly thereafter Lisa is happy for a break from normal life but her thoughts are soon occupied by the magical rabbit she sees coming out of her wall. She follows it to a hidden hole in her backyard and vows to return the next day and investigate further. Lisa leaves one last cryptic post on her blog proclaiming she is going through the hole into another dimension before ceasing all communication.

This story was written in short blog format so it makes it easy for the reader to get through the story quickly. There are also some small interactions in the blog like links to the myspace page. Also the readers will notice her mood and location section at the bottom of each entry. They tend to relate to that day's entry and some times the location would link over to a map. This helps the reader to become interactive with the story and also the pictures with the entries help as well.
